# Delete knowledge folder

> Delete a folder from the knowledge tree.

Use this route to remove a folder from the tree.

## Headers

  Bearer token containing your Fini workspace API key. Format: `Bearer fini_...` The key needs `write` scope.

## Path parameters

  Folder ID to delete.
</ParamField>

## Response

Returns the deleted knowledge folder object. See [Organize knowledge](/en/api-reference/organize-knowledge) for the shared folder fields.

## Errors
