Use the Facebook card on Deploy to authorize Pages and select the agent for each Page. Fini can process incoming Page comments and Messenger messages and reply through Facebook. Each Page has its own connection and routing settings.
Saved Page authorization alone does not prove that messages are reaching Fini. Confirm Page event delivery and permissions with your Fini contact, select an agent, and test both the incoming conversation and its reply before rollout.

Connect Pages

1

Open Facebook setup

Open Deploy and select the Facebook card. For a new connection, click Connect; the Page management screen also offers Connect Facebook. Continue to Facebook to grant access.
2

Review the Pages Facebook shares

Return to Fini and review Choose Pages to connect. Select the Pages you want to save, then use the Save action, which shows the selected Page count. Pages missing required permissions or Page tasks cannot be selected; the picker explains what is missing.
3

Manage saved settings

Expand a Page under Saved Pages. Under Bot Routing, choose an agent or No bot selected. Under Reply Settings, set the reply lag in seconds; the default is zero. Click Save Changes. The selected agent handles new conversations routed from that Page; reply rules still determine whether Fini responds.
Use Manage Facebook Pages to add Pages or resume an unfinished selection. Closing the picker does not disconnect saved Pages. If the selection expires, click Choose Pages again. If a previous save is pending, use Retry saving Pages to retry the same selection. Configure Reply Behavior links to the shared Reply Rules settings, not a separate set of rules for that Page.

Conversation behavior

Fini replies to a Page comment in its comment thread and sends Messenger replies to the participant in that Page conversation. Comments and Messenger conversations remain separate. Messenger conversations start a new Fini session after seven days of customer inactivity. Messenger replies are limited to the 24 hours after the latest customer message. Fini does not automatically reply when the conversation is escalated to a human or its status is locked by a teammate. Page-authored messages and Fini’s own reply echoes do not trigger another AI response.

Verify the connection

Send a new message or comment from a test participant, then check the conversation in Fini and the reply in Facebook. Test Messenger and comments separately if you use both. If no conversation appears, check Page access, event delivery and Bot Routing before changing your agent’s instructions. If a conversation appears without a reply, check Reply Rules, human handoff state, and the Messenger response window.

Reconnect Page access

Fini checks saved Page access when the Page list loads. It does not continuously monitor an open screen for changes made in Facebook. If Fini confirms lost access, the Page needs reconnection. Use Reconnect on the Page or Reconnect Page in the access-loss notice, then complete authorization for that Page. The existing Page settings and history are retained. Continue only acknowledges the notice; it does not restore access. An unavailable verification check is not the same as confirmed lost access. Retry loading the Page list before changing the connection.

Disconnect a Page

Open the Page’s actions menu, choose Disconnect, and confirm Disconnect Page. This removes that Page’s saved access from Fini while retaining its history and settings. Other Pages are not disconnected. Disconnecting in Fini does not revoke the app’s authorization in Facebook. Manage Facebook-side grants in Facebook business integrations if you also want to remove that access.

Troubleshooting

Fini can only list Pages shared by the current Facebook authorization. Click Missing a Page?, review the Page’s access in Facebook business integrations, then explicitly click Update Facebook access. No new Pages to connect means the returned Pages are already saved, not that every Page you own is connected.
Read the missing-permission or Page-task message and update access in Facebook. A Page with conflicting workspace ownership cannot be installed into another workspace; resolve that ownership with your Fini contact rather than repeatedly authorizing it.
Check that the Page has an agent selected and that Page events reach Fini. Ask your Fini contact to verify Facebook-side event delivery and permissions. Reauthorizing alone does not verify the complete messaging path.
